Botanische Tuin Kerkrade

Kerkrade Botanical Garden is one of 27 official botanical gardens in the Netherlands and the only one in Limburg!

The collection is rich and varied and consists largely of plants and trees from the temperate regions of the world. The tree collection can definitely be called special.

The small greenhouse houses drought plants from South Africa and Madagascar. The Madagascar collection is unique in the Netherlands.

The genesis, the mining history, the input of designer John Bergmans and the current state of the garden contribute to a high appreciation by visitors.

The garden is equally interesting for everyone, whether laymen, enthusiasts or experts.
